Saint Simons Island Man Arrested on Child Exploitation and Drug Charges
SAINT SIMONS ISLAND, GA – A St. Simons Island man is under arrest in connection with an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation that also led to the discovery of illegal narcotics. Lucas Pigge, 35, of St. Simons Island, was initially arrested on August 5 on drug charges and was then charged on August 7 with multiple felony offenses after a forensic examination of his electronic devices.
The investigation began in June 2025 when the Glynn County Police Department received a tip about possible ICAC offenses. A search warrant executed at Pigge’s residence on George Lotson Avenue led to the seizure of electronic devices and illegal narcotics, including cocaine, MDMA, and marijuana. Pigge was arrested on the initial drug charges and later bonded out.
A subsequent forensic analysis of the seized devices confirmed the presence and dissemination of child sexual exploitation material. Pigge turned himself in on Thursday afternoon and is now formally charged with:
- Four counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Possession)
- Four counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Distribution)
- Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce
- Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine)
- Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance (MDMA)
- Possession of Drug-Related Objects
The investigation was conducted in coordination with the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The Glynn County Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact them at (912) 554-3645.
