Wanted Man Captured After Attempting to Flee Deputies in Bibb County

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit and K-9 Interdiction Unit deputies apprehended a wanted suspect on December 6, 2024, at the intersection of Rocky Creek Road and Pio Nono Avenue.

According to reports, the man, who previously fled deputies by jumping off a moped, was spotted walking along the roadway. Upon seeing deputies, he attempted to run again but was quickly taken into custody.

The suspect was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. He faces multiple charges, including driving while license suspended or revoked, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, and superior court probation violations for failure to register as a sex offender and aggravated assault. Additional charges are also pending.
