Seven Arrested After Major Bibb County Drug Trafficking Investigation
MACON, Ga. — Seven people were arrested after the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office executed multiple search warrants Wednesday as part of a narcotics distribution investigation that resulted in the seizure of drugs, firearms, and cash.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, investigators with the Special Investigations Division executed several search warrants on July 1 with assistance from the SWAT Team, Gang Unit, Criminal Investigation Division, U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Houston County SWAT Team, and the Georgia State Patrol.
During the operation, investigators seized:
- Six firearms
- Approximately three pounds of marijuana
- About one-half pound of crack cocaine
- More than one-quarter pound of powder cocaine
- Approximately three ounces of methamphetamine
- Twelve ecstasy pills
- Eight grams of Xanax
- An undisclosed amount of cash
Authorities arrested the following seven suspects without incident and transported them to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center:
Bruce Gibson
- Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, and Marijuana
- Trafficking in Methamphetamine
- Trafficking in Schedule II Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine)
- Trafficking in Schedule II Controlled Substance (Powder Cocaine)
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
Roger Gibson Jr.
- Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, and Marijuana
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine)
Carnell Forrest Jr.
- Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, and Marijuana
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance (Xanax) with Intent to Distribute
Quandarrius Harris
- Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, and Marijuana
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
David Pierce
- Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance (Ecstasy)
Quintavious Randall
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Jermaine Willis
- Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, and Marijuana
All seven suspects are being held without bond.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing.
