Bibb County Woman Turns Herself In After Triple Murder on Williams Street

MACON, GA — Rekeymia Shatalya Henley, 21, of Macon, has surrendered to authorities following her identification as a suspect in a triple homicide that occurred on October 18, 2025.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 500 block of Williams Street around 10:00 p.m. after a 911 call reported that a 27-year-old man had been shot and transported to a local hospital by private vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two additional victims — a 16-year-old and a 21-year-old — who were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Bibb County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as Markell Bonner Jr., 16, and Brandon Devonta Thomas, 21. The third victim, Quantayrias De’Monte Townsend, 27, later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

A Be-On-the-Lookout (BOLO) alert was issued for Henley following the incident. On October 27, just before 9:00 p.m., Henley met with investigators at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and turned herself in.

Henley is charged with three counts of murder, one count of aggravated assault, and one count of tampering with evidence. She is currently being held without bond.
