Newton County Man Arrested for Murder of Wife and Son

COVINGTON, GA – A Covington man is facing two counts of murder after his wife and son were found fatally shot inside their Oak Meadows home early Thursday morning.
At approximately 12:20 a.m. on July 17, Newton County deputies responded to a report of two individuals shot at a residence on Oak Meadows. Upon arrival, deputies encountered Willie Glenn, 53, who stated that his wife, Kowanda Glenn, 50, and his son, Mikhail Glenn, 20, had both been fatally shot inside their home.
The Newton County Criminal Investigations Division immediately launched a thorough investigation, which determined the incident was domestic-related. Investigators arrested Willie Glenn at the scene.
He is currently charged with two counts of murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
The investigation remains ongoing, and a motive has not yet been confirmed.
