Unsolved Homicide: GBI Seeks Information in 2008 Dawsonville Murder

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in solving the 2008 homicide of 44-year-old Cheryl Williams Frady. Frady was found unresponsive in her basement bedroom on Brookwood Drive in Dawsonville between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on April 5, 2008.
Dawson County authorities arrived shortly after and determined that Frady had died from a gunshot wound. She lived with her mother and stepfather and was last heard from at approximately 1:30 a.m. on the morning she was discovered.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office are urging anyone who may have information about Cheryl Williams Frady’s death to come forward.
