Savannah Police Investigate Fatal Saturday Night Shooting on Tatem Street
The Savannah Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in the 800 block of Tatem Street, resulting in the death of one adult male.
Officers responded to the location at approximately 10:45 p.m. after receiving reports from ShotSpotter. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim ultimately died from his injuries.
Officers interviewed multiple witnesses and collected evidence at the scene. The investigation into the fatal shooting is currently ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
