Savannah Police Investigate Afternoon Shooting; Man Seriously Injured

The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and West Gwinnett Street on Tuesday afternoon, April 2, leaving an adult male with serious injuries.

Officers responded to reports of the shooting at approximately 3:20 p.m. The victim, who sustained gunshot wounds, drove a short distance before stopping. EMS then transported him to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment. He is currently listed in stable condition.
