Albany Police Search for Man Wanted in Car Dealership Identity Fraud Scheme
The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is seeking the public’s help in locating 40-year-old Manuel Breshawn Rouse, who is wanted for Identity Fraud. Rouse, whose last known address is in the 400 block of Carver Avenue, is accused of using someone else’s identification to create an online account and purchase a car from a local dealership on October 5, 2024, without the owner’s consent. Rouse attempted to complete the transaction when he went to the dealership.
