Drug Dealer Busted After High-Speed Chase in Macon

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputies observed a Honda Accord traveling southbound on Mumford Drive with the driver not wearing a seatbelt. The deputies initiated a traffic stop, but the driver accelerated and turned onto several streets.

The pursuit ended when the driver finally came to a stop. Deputies took the motorist into custody and discovered a bookbag in the backseat containing bags of narcotics, digital scales, and packaging supplies. The male driver was also wanted on an active warrant from Peach County.

He was transported without incident to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
