Woman Killed at Savannah Intersection

Savannah Police detectives are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on May 26 at the intersection of Emerald and May, resulting in the death of one adult woman.

Police were alerted to the scene at 2:47 a.m. by a ShotSpotter notification. Upon arrival, officers found a 36-year-old woman who had sustained fatal injuries from the shooting.
