Young Man Wounded in MLK Jr Drive Shooting
On May 28th, 2024, at approximately 1:53 pm, Atlanta officers responded to the area of 903 Martin Luther King Junior Drive NW in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a 21-year-old male who sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the left arm. The man was transported to the hospital for treatment. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. At this time, the investigation is ongoing.
