Atlanta Police Investigate Home Invasion Shooting in Lindridge-Martin Manor Area
On the night of May 27, 2024, at approximately 11:50 PM, Atlanta officers rushed to 2430 Cheshire Bridge Rd in the Lindridge-Martin Manor area following reports of a shooting incident. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim with a gunshot wound. Fortunately, he was conscious and breathing. Grady EMS swiftly transported him to the hospital for medical attention.
Initial investigations suggest that upon returning home, the victim found his door forcibly opened. Upon entering, he encountered an intruder inside his apartment. A confrontation ensued, during which the suspect brandished a firearm and shot the victim before absconding with the victim’s safe.
The case remains under active investigation by authorities.
