Albany Police Need Help Locating Person of Interest in Homicide Case

The Albany Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 24-year-old Malik Ladin Frazier as a person of interest in a recent homicide case. Frazier is wanted for questioning regarding the incident that occurred in the 1000 block of Radium Springs Rd.

According to the Albany Police Department (APD), the shooting incident took place on Wednesday, March 6, at approximately 11 p.m. in the mentioned block.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two individuals injured by gunfire. Markel Harper, aged 29, sustained a gunshot wound to his chest, while Jaboris Cato, aged 28, suffered a gunshot wound to his buttocks. Both victims were promptly transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment. Harper succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
