Albany Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on Swift Street, Person of Interest Identified

The Albany Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1200 block of Swift Street around 11:30 PM on July 17, 2024. The victim, a 29-year-old male identified as Tavis Griffin, was shot and later succumbed to his injuries.

A person of interest in this homicide has been identified as Alcesia Henry. Albany Police Detectives are asking the public’s help in locating her.
