Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Dismantles Major Drug Trafficking Organization

In November 2025, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division launched an investigation into a major Drug Trafficking Organization operating throughout Augusta-Richmond County. The investigation identified Robert Seymore as the leader, along with members Qwintera Martin, Vernon Frails, Fredricus Green, Cleveland McBride, and Donald Searson.

On December 3, 2025, investigators executed search warrants at 3837 Fairington Drive and 1928 First Avenue. The operation resulted in the seizure of:

  • 12.5 kilograms of methamphetamine
  • 653.5 grams of cocaine
  • 815.5 grams of marijuana
  • 178 oxycodone pills and 70 fentanyl pills
  • 12 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
  • 2 firearms (1 stolen), 2 vehicles, and $57,662 in cash

The suspects now face multiple charges, including trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, possession with intent to distribute various controlled substances, possession of firearms by convicted felons, and obstruction of law enforcement.

Sheriff Eugene Brantley praised the Narcotics and Crime Suppression Divisions for their work: “The amount of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and other dangerous substances seized in this case represents countless lives saved. We will continue working closely with our partners to dismantle drug trafficking organizations and keep our community safe.”

This seizure comes as part of an ongoing effort that, in 2025 alone, has recovered over 45 kilograms of methamphetamine, 27 kilograms of marijuana, nearly 7 kilograms of cocaine, 126 illegal firearms, and more than $595,000 in cash connected to narcotics investigations.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to intelligence-driven enforcement and community safety, sending a clear message to anyone distributing drugs in the area: you will be found and held accountable.
