Bibb County Investigators Seek Man With Key Information in Triple-Homicide Case
Wanted: Titustavius Freeman Jr.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 24-year-old Titustavius Freeman Jr. of Macon. Investigators believe he may have information critical to a death investigation from October 18, 2025. Deputies stressed that Freeman is not wanted on any charges related to the case; they simply need to speak with him as the investigation moves forward.

The case centers on a violent shooting in the 500 block of Williams Street. Just before 11 p.m., deputies responded after Macon-Bibb E-911 received multiple calls about gunshot victims in the area.

The first call came in at 10:25 p.m. reporting that a 27-year-old man, later identified as Quantayrias De’ Monte Townsend, had been shot and taken to a local hospital by personal vehicle. Despite medical efforts, he did not survive his injuries.

A second call sent deputies to Williams Street, where they found two additional victims unresponsive. They were identified as 21-year-old Brandon Devonta Thomas and 16-year-old Markell Bonner Jr. Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced both men deceased at the scene.

As detectives worked the case, they eventually identified 21-year-old Rekeymia Shatayla Henley of Macon as a suspect. Henley later turned herself in, but the investigation continued as deputies worked to piece together what led to the deadly shooting.

Investigators now believe Freeman may have information that could help fill in key gaps. Anyone who knows his whereabouts or has information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
