Stranger Things Weekend in Jackson, Georgia Confirmed

JACKSON, Ga.—Fans of the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” can rejoice as the highly anticipated “Stranger Things Weekend” in the fictional Hawkins (filmed at Jackson, Georgia) is officially confirmed to proceed as planned on October 4th and 5th, 2025.

Organizers have addressed recent confusion and misinformation, stating that plans are moving forward for the event. Second Street in Jackson will be transformed to resemble the fictional town of Hawkins, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the world of the show. Partner storefronts will also host special events and activities throughout the weekend.

This fan-driven event is not affiliated with EPICON, which has ceased operations. There will be no celebrity guests; instead, the focus is on a grassroots opportunity for fans to connect and celebrate the upcoming fifth and final season of “Stranger Things.”

The “Stranger Things Universe” event in Downtown Jackson will feature cosplay, photo opportunities, food, and other activities. Attendees can also participate in a “Stranger Things” filming location tour in Jackson, visiting sites such as the library and the Radio Shack, which served as real-life settings for the show.
