Teen Arrested in Albany After Series of Vehicle Break-Ins on Gillionville Road

On July 15, 2025, the Albany Police Department responded to multiple reports of vehicle break-ins in the areas surrounding Gillionville Road. Victims reported that their car windows had been smashed and various items stolen.

Police quickly gathered surveillance footage and interviewed witnesses, identifying a suspect vehicle connected to approximately 15 to 20 break-ins.

That same evening, detectives located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on E. Broad Avenue. Seventeen-year-old Deandre Deangelo Williams was arrested without incident and charged with 11 counts of Entering Auto.

Williams was transported to the Law Enforcement Center. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to search for additional suspects, with further charges possible.
