3rd Annual Macon-Bibb Hispanic Festival at Carolyn Crayton Park Set for September 21
The 3rd Annual Macon-Bibb Hispanic Festival will take place on Saturday, September 21, at Carolyn Crayton Park, located at 150 Willie Smokie Glover Drive. The festival, which will run from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., is free and open to the public.
The family-friendly event features live music, entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and a kids’ zone. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating on the lawn.
“Hispanic heritage is worth celebrating, and this festival does just that,” said Mayor Lester Miller. “We’re excited to expand this celebration to Carolyn Crayton Park. I hope many of you will come to eat some great food, dance, and learn more about the different Hispanic cultures in our community.”
A parade will kick off the festival at 1:00 p.m. Those interested in participating in the parade should email elizabethm.almena@gmail.com.
The event is organized by NotiVision Georgia in partnership with Macon-Bibb County. Representatives from various Hispanic community leaders are expected to attend.
