Richmond County Deputies Search for Armed and Dangerous Aggravated Assault Suspect

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred Monday in south Augusta.

Investigators are searching for 35-year-old Abe Joseph Faust, who is wanted for an aggravated assault reported on June 29 in the 1000 block of 15th Avenue in the South Turpin Hill neighborhood.

According to the sheriff’s office, warrants have been issued for Faust’s arrest.

Authorities said Faust is homeless in the area but is known to frequent 1008 15th Avenue.

He is described as approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office considers Faust to be armed and dangerous and advises the public not to approach him.
