Teen Found Dead in Vehicle After Albany Crash Being Investigated as Homicide
ALBANY, Ga. — A 17-year-old was found dead inside a crashed vehicle early Saturday morning, and authorities are investigating the case as a homicide.
According to the Albany Police Department, officers responded at approximately 5:52 a.m. on June 28 to the 2000 block of West Oglethorpe Avenue in the Avondale Acres area following a reported vehicle crash.
When officers arrived, they found a deceased male in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
The victim was identified as 17-year-old Neontae Clark.
Police said the incident is currently being investigated as a homicide. No additional details about the circumstances surrounding Clark’s death have been released.
The investigation remains active, and officials said more information will be released as it becomes available.
