Glynn County Police Conclude Investigation Into Death of Missing Woman Judy Deen
GLYNN COUNTY, Georgia – The Glynn County Police Department announced it has concluded its investigation into the missing person case of 74-year-old Judy Ann Deen after determining her death could not be linked to any criminal act.
According to investigators, Deen was last seen on Nov. 13, 2025, approximately six weeks before she was officially reported missing on Dec. 27, 2025.
Police said the conclusion followed an extensive investigation that included a forensic anthropology examination of Deen’s remains conducted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities said the delay in reporting the case significantly impacted the investigation because critical evidence was no longer available by the time investigators began searching for Deen.
Investigators conducted searches, interviews, forensic examinations, data analysis, and followed up on tips and leads throughout the case. Multiple agencies assisted in the investigation, including the Glynn County Coroner’s Office, Glynn County Sheriff’s Office, Camden County Sheriff’s Office, and Glynn County District Attorney’s Office.
Police said that after all investigative leads were exhausted, and with approval from Deen’s family, a proffer was offered to obtain information regarding the location of her remains.
The department said it remains committed to reviewing any new information that may emerge and pledged continued transparency with the public in accordance with the Georgia Open Records Act.
Authorities also extended condolences to Deen’s family and loved ones.
