Man Arrested After Participating in Scientology Speedrunning Trend at Sandy Springs Church
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A 20-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with an incident at a Church of Scientology facility tied to a social media trend involving unauthorized entry into buildings, according to authorities.
The Sandy Springs Police Department said the incident occurred April 29, 2026, at the Church of Scientology facility located at 5395 Roswell Road.
Investigators said the incident involved individuals participating in a social media trend referred to as “Scientology Speedrunning,” in which participants allegedly enter Scientology facilities without permission and record themselves attempting to move through the buildings before being confronted by security personnel.
According to police, the investigation determined that 20-year-old Jackson Sensing and several unidentified males entered the property without authorization while participating in the trend.
Authorities arrested Sensing on May 13 and charged him with Disorderly Conduct.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue working to identify additional individuals involved in the incident.
Officials also warned that entering private property without authorization can result in criminal charges and create safety concerns for those involved.
