Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision With Pickup on Jeffersonville Road in Macon

MACON, Ga. – A motorcyclist was critically injured Friday afternoon in a collision with a pickup truck on Jeffersonville Road in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center around 2:23 p.m. at the intersection of Jeffersonville and Donnan roads.

Preliminary information indicates the driver of a Ford F-150 was traveling east on Jeffersonville Road and stopped while preparing to turn left onto Donnan Road.

As the pickup driver yielded to oncoming traffic, a Suzuki motorcycle traveling west on Jeffersonville Road collided with the F-150, according to the sheriff’s office.

Paramedics transported the motorcycle rider to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition. Authorities have not released his name.

No other injuries were reported.
