Multiple People Shot in Albany; Police Investigating

Albany Police officers responded to two separate shooting locations on Saturday night, April 12, 2025.

The first call came in around 9:34 P.M. for a shooting in the 800 block of W Oglethorpe Blvd. While en route, officers received reports of additional gunshots near the 700 block of W Highland Ave. At that location, they found 26-year-old Michael Brown with serious injuries.

Moments later, officers were dispatched to Krystal’s restaurant at 713 W Oglethorpe Blvd, where two more males, 23-year-old Daniel Davenport and 27-year-old Hewlittle Boone, had been shot.

All three victims were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment. Michael Brown is currently listed in critical condition.

The Albany Police Department is actively investigating this incident and encourages anyone with video footage to submit it anonymously through their Albany GA Police Department app. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100 or Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS.
