Four Warner Robins Residents Arrested in Major Drug Bust, Seized Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested four Warner Robins residents following an extensive multi-agency drug investigation. The arrests were made on March 13, 2025, after a year-long investigation led to the execution of search warrants by the Warner Robins Police Department (WRPD) SWAT, the GBI Special Enforcement Team, and the DEA.
The following individuals face multiple drug-related charges:
- Latray McKenzie, 26, was arrested on charges including trafficking and sale of fentanyl and methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
- Justin High, 37, faces charges of trafficking and sale of fentanyl and methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and trafficking methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school.
- Takora Prater, 38, was charged with trafficking and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, including within 1000 feet of a school.
- Aretha Veal, 56, is charged with trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine, sale of fentanyl, and possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
During the operation, law enforcement seized approximately 15 pounds of suspected fentanyl (around 67,000 pills), 12 pounds of suspected crystal methamphetamine, two firearms, and cash.
The four suspects were booked into the Houston County Jail, facing various drug distribution and firearm-related charges. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug distribution and gang activity in Central Georgia, aimed at making the community safer. The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the Warner Robins Police Department, GBI Middle Georgia Gang Task Force, Georgia State Patrol, and the DEA.
