Kennesaw Woman Found Dead; Son Arrested for Murder
A 67-year-old woman, Melanie Sarris, was found deceased in her home on the 1000 block of Evian Way in Kennesaw on February 24, 2025.
Cobb County Police Officers responded to a welfare check at the residence at approximately 10:30 a.m. and discovered the deceased.
Based on preliminary investigations, Major Crimes Detectives have arrested Melanie Sarris’s 28-year-old son, Daniel Sarris, and charged him with Aggravated Assault and Murder.
