Dirt Bike Rider Killed in Richmond County Crash

On February 3, 2025, at 3:16 p.m., Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Units responded to a fatal accident at the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Golden Camp Road in Augusta. The crash involved a black Ford Edge and a green Kawasaki dirt bike.

According to a preliminary investigation, the Kawasaki was traveling east on Milledgeville Road when the Ford Edge, which was traveling west, turned into its path, causing a collision. The driver of the Kawasaki succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
