19-Year-old Woman Fatally Shot in Face at Albany Apartment By Boyfriend

On August 10, 2024, at approximately 12:11 AM, officers responded to a shooting at the Shoreham Apartments in the 2200 block of Champagne Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered Eboni Nicole Hood, a 19-year-old female, deceased in the bedroom of her upstairs apartment. Hood had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the face.

J’Shon Davyen Price, a 21-year-old male, was taken into custody at the scene. Price claimed that he accidentally shot his girlfriend. The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Bureau conducted interviews and gathered evidence. Based on their findings, Price was charged with Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Aggravated Assault (Family Violence). He was subsequently transported to the Dougherty County Jail.

Hood and Price were living together in the apartment where the incident occurred.
