Bibb County Deputies Capture Barricaded Man in Macon Standoff

Over the weekend, deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) took a wanted suspect into custody after a standoff at an apartment complex in Macon.

Deputies were called to a domestic conflict. Upon arrival, the suspect barricaded himself inside the apartment with a female.

After negotiations with the suspect broke down, deputies forced entry into the apartment. The male suspect was apprehended without further incident. The female present was unharmed during the operation.
