Investigators Seek Tips on Murder at Augusta Dollar General Store

Elias Delk was murdered on June 15, 2024, at the Dollar General store located at 1710 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Augusta. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) is requesting witnesses or anyone with information to come forward and contact the RCSO regarding this incident.

Deputies responded on June 15th to the Dollar General at around 4:45 AM to investigate a suspicious situation. Upon arrival, they found Delk deceased from multiple blunt force trauma.
