Fatal Shooting in Columbus Parking Garage Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

The Columbus Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred early on July 7, 2024, at a parking garage located in the 1000 block of Broadway. At approximately 12:16 a.m., officers responded to a call and found Quentin Scott, Jr., lying in the parking garage with gunshot wounds. Sadly, Quentin Scott, Jr. passed away due to his injuries at the scene. Two other individuals were also injured by gunfire during the incident. They were promptly taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional for medical attention and are reported to be in stable condition.
