Columbus Massage Therapist Arrested on Multiple Sexual Offense Charges
COLUMBUS, Ga. — A Columbus man has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct involving clients at a local massage business, according to the Columbus Police Department.
The investigation began after an individual reported inappropriate contact during a massage at Nu You Experience, located in the 3800 block of East Britt David Road.
As detectives continued investigating, a second person came forward with a similar allegation.
Police said investigators learned that Clarence Brown had left the United States during the investigation.
On June 15, 2026, Brown was detained by U.S. Customs and airport authorities when he re-entered the country through Miami, Florida. He was later taken into custody by the Columbus Police Department’s Fugitive Unit and extradited to Columbus.
Following additional interviews and a review of the evidence, detectives obtained warrants charging Brown with:
- Two counts of Sexual Battery
- Aggravated Sexual Battery
- Two counts of Masturbation for Hire
- Unlawful Acts under the Massage Therapy Practice Act
- Acting Without a License
- Giving Massages in a Place Used for Lewdness, Prostitution, Assignation, or Masturbation for Hire
- Obscene Material
- Utilization of Federal Work Authorization Program
Brown is being held in the Muscogee County Jail.
He is scheduled to appear in Recorder’s Court for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30.
The investigation remains ongoing.
