Bibb County Deputies Arrest Four-Wheeler Rider After Pursuit, Release Juvenile

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputies recently observed an adult male and a 12-year-old illegally operating vehicles on Houston Avenue and Glendale Avenue. The adult male was without a helmet and driving a four-wheeler, while the juvenile was also helmetless and operating a dirt bike.

Upon initiating a traffic stop, the riders accelerated away, leading to a pursuit. They drove through several streets, yards, and around houses before returning to the roadway. They then abandoned the four-wheeler and attempted to flee on foot. The juvenile stopped after nearly hitting a parked vehicle.

Deputies arrested the adult male, who had a warrant out of Houston County. He was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center on multiple charges. The juvenile was released to a parent.
