Albany Murder Suspect Apprehended in Bell Hill County

On April 24, 2024, at around 4:34 pm, the Bell Hill County Sheriff’s Office informed the Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Bureau about the arrest of 24-year-old Malik Lafaun Frazier.

Frazier was apprehended in Bell Hill County and was wanted in connection with the shooting death of 29-year-old Markel Jamal Harper. The incident occurred on March 6, 2024, at the 1000 block of Radium Springs Road in Albany, GA.

Following his apprehension, Frazier was transported back to Dougherty County on the same day and was booked on charges of Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
