Wanted Man Shoots at Victims During Robbery in Peachtree Corners

Gwinnett County Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting incident at an apartment parking lot in Peachtree Corners.

The incident occurred on April 11 at around 6:40 p.m. at The Vines Apartments. Officers were called to the scene following reports of shots fired. According to a witness, a black male approached the driver’s side of a truck in the parking lot and demanded money. A confrontation ensued, during which the suspect fired shots at the truck as it quickly drove away. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported thus far.

The suspect is described as a thin black male with short hair. He was reportedly wearing a black shirt and light-colored pants at the time of the incident. Additionally, he may have tattoos on his left arm.

UPDATE: On April 29th, Detectives obtained warrants for 19-year-old Quavion Black of Stockbridge for three counts of Aggravated Assault, Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer, and Criminal Damage to Property in the First Degree.  Black was arrested by Henry County Police and transported to the Gwinnett County Jail.
