Police Seek 19-Year-Old Suspect in Connection with Homicide in Augusta

Authorities in Augusta, Georgia, are searching for 19-year-old Cameron Lavertt Williams in connection with a homicide that occurred on November 16, 2023.

The incident took place at the intersection of Verdery Street and Oak Street, near Elm Hall at Augusta University. A warrant for Williams’ arrest on the charge of Murder has been issued.

Williams is known to frequent the vicinity of the incident location and the Georgetown Subdivision. He is considered armed and dangerous.
