Albany Police Respond to Burglary at Humane Society, Looking for Person of Interest

Police officers in Albany responded to a burglary at the Albany Humane Society located at 1705 W. Oakridge Dr. at approximately 2:26 am on March 19th. Upon arrival, officers found the front door glass of the business shattered.

According to an employee at the scene, puppies and other valuables were reported missing after a thorough search of the area. Surveillance footage has been obtained from the scene in hopes of identifying possible suspects.

Investigators are currently seeking a person of interest in connection to the incident. The individual, identified as 30-year-old Darius Dentrall Parker, is being sought by authorities.
