Fulton County, GA — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a disturbing animal cruelty case that occurred last summer at Atlantic Station, according to the Fulton County Police Department.

Police said the case first gained public attention in January 2026, when investigators asked for help identifying the person responsible for the incident at a parking deck in the Atlantic Station area.

Authorities have now identified the suspect as Dorie Trimez Wilson of Atlanta.

Wilson was arrested on February 6, 2026, and is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail without bond.

Investigators said Wilson has been charged with two counts of Bestiality and two counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, all felony charges.

According to police, Wilson also has an extensive criminal history spanning nearly 30 years.

Officials said he was taken into custody by Fulton County Police on February 6th in a separate case involving Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

At the time of that arrest, Wilson was already out on bond in another case involving Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, authorities said.

Police said they remain committed to pursuing justice in cases involving harm to animals.

“We will continue to seek justice for all animals in Fulton County and ensure that these offenders are held accountable,” the department said in a statement.
