14-Year-Old Killed in Savannah Hit-and-Run While Riding E-Bike

SAVANNAH, GA – The Chatham County Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving a 14-year-old male in Savannah, GA. The incident occurred on Sunday night, December 28, at approximately 7:00 p.m., near the intersection of Glade and Ferguson.

The victim was riding an electric bike when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Authorities currently do not have a description of the suspect vehicle and are using forensic investigative techniques to identify it. Police are asking the public for assistance, particularly home surveillance or doorbell camera footage that may have captured the incident.
