Major Drug Bust: Bibb County Sheriff Seizes $712K in Drugs, Cash, Guns, and Vehicles
On November 19, 2025, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, with assistance from the Gang Unit, Patrol Division, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, executed a high-risk search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Key Court. The operation led to the seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs, multiple firearms, cash, and vehicles.
Law enforcement officials recovered over fifty pounds of marijuana, four pounds of cocaine, thirty-nine grams of crack cocaine, and seven grams of ecstasy. Officers also seized $5,630 in U.S. currency, along with several firearms including a Glock 22 (.40 caliber), Glock 32 (.357 caliber), FN 510 (10mm), Smith & Wesson M&P (.45 caliber), and an Anderson Arms 300 Blackout assault rifle, as well as multiple high-capacity magazines including a 50-round drum. Three vehicles—a 1980 Ford F150, a 2024 Honda Accord, and a 2022 Kia K5—were also taken as evidence.
The total estimated value of the seizures is $712,630, broken down as $65,000 for vehicles, $2,500 for firearms, $5,630 in cash, and $639,600 in street-value drugs.
During the operation, Jimmie Lee Jones and Kinjarra Bonner were arrested and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Both face multiple charges, including trafficking marijuana, trafficking cocaine, trafficking crack cocaine, possession of Schedule I ecstasy with intent to distribute, and five counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Bond has been denied for both individuals.
“This is a significant seizure of illegal drugs, particularly in the amounts of cocaine and ecstasy,” said Sheriff David J. Davis. “This case also highlights the connection between high-powered weapons and the drug trade. Removing these dangerous drugs and firearms from the streets makes our community safer and may have saved innocent lives.”
