Deputy Injured After Patrol Vehicle Overturns in Rockdale County Crash

Rockdale County, Georgia – The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office reports that a deputy was injured Tuesday, November 18, 2025, after another driver ran a red light and crashed into the deputy’s patrol vehicle at the intersection of Sigman Road and Chambers Drive. The force of the collision caused the patrol vehicle to overturn onto its side.

Emergency crews responded and the deputy was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. The extent of the injuries has not been released.

The Georgia State Patrol is leading the investigation into the crash. No additional details are being released at this time.
