Savannah Police Arrest Juvenile in Connection with September Shooting
The Savannah Police Department has arrested a male juvenile in connection with a September 27 shooting on the 20 block of Darling Street that left an adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the foot.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 1:50 p.m., and the victim later arrived at Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.
The juvenile suspect was taken into custody on October 29 and booked into the Regional Youth Detention Center (RYDC). He faces charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
This marks the second arrest in connection with the incident. Messiah Holmes, 18, was arrested on October 9 in relation to the same case.
