Albany Police Seek Man for Questioning in Aggravated Assault

The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is asking for the public’s help in locating 22-year-old Armond Degregory West, who is wanted for questioning in connection with an aggravated assault involving a firearm.

West’s last known address is in the 600 block of Sands Drive.

He is wanted for questioning regarding a shooting that occurred in the 900 block of Holloway Avenue (Holley Holmes Housing) on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at approximately 12:15 A.M. Officers responding to the scene found that a 32-year-old black male had been shot twice and transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The victim was last reported to be in stable condition.
