Career Bibb County Cocaine Dealer Sentenced to 20 Years on Drug, Gun Charges
MACON, Ga. — A repeat drug offender with a lengthy criminal history in Bibb County has been sentenced to 20 years after pleading guilty to cocaine trafficking-related charges, according to the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities said Deandre Williams entered guilty pleas on May 13, 2026, to one count of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute and two counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
Under the sentence, Williams will serve 10 years in the Georgia Department of Corrections followed by 10 years on probation.
Prosecutors said Williams had been scheduled to stand trial during the week of May 11 before deciding to plead guilty.
According to investigators, Williams had a criminal history involving cocaine distribution in Bibb County dating back to the early 2000s.
The charges stemmed from a March 2, 2022, search warrant executed at Williams’ residence after investigators developed evidence that he was continuing to sell cocaine in the community.
Authorities said investigators recovered approximately seven grams of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, an AR-style firearm, and a Glock-style firearm during the search.
Williams was arrested at the scene.
Anita Howard said the sentence sends a message that the community will not tolerate armed career drug dealers.
The district attorney’s office credited the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and Investigator Alex Fletcher for their work on the case.
