Glynn County Police Operation Recovers Three Firearms, Leads to Multiple Arrests
GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) conducted concentrated patrol operations last week in an effort to proactively address violent crime and auto thefts, resulting in the recovery of three firearms, various narcotics, and multiple arrests.
Detectives and patrol officers conducted several traffic stops during the operation, leading to further investigations and charges against three individuals:
- Derrick Heidt (22): Charged with multiple offenses, including Possession of Schedule II Substance (Percocet), Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Marijuana Less Than an Ounce, and Crossing the Guard Lines with Drugs.
- Ladonte Roberts (17): Charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm) and Possession of a Handgun by a Person Under 18.
- Christopher Sapp (38): Faces serious felony charges including Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Crimes, and multiple counts of Possession of Schedule II Substances (Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Dextroamphetamine).
