Governor Kemp Commends Colony Bank on 50th Anniversary

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has issued an official commendation to Colony Bank, recognizing the company’s 50th anniversary. The commendation celebrates five decades of the bank’s service to customers and its commitment to strengthening communities and supporting economic growth throughout Georgia.
Founded in 1975, Colony Bank has focused on providing financial solutions for families and small businesses. The commendation acknowledges the bank’s role in expanding access to financial services and fostering community development.
The official recognition was presented to Colony Bank’s executive team and board of directors at the Georgia State Capitol in August.
“This commendation is a reminder of how far Colony Bank has come and the important role community banks continue to play in our nation,” said Heath Fountain, CEO of Colony Bank. “We are humbled by this recognition and remain committed to serving with the same focus and integrity that has guided the past 50 years.”
