Man Seriously Injured After Being Intentionally Struck by Vehicle Outside Dunwoody Restaurant

Dunwoody Police officers are investigating an incident that occurred early Saturday morning, April 26, 2025, at approximately 2:20 am outside The Bird restaurant, located at 4719 Ashford Dunwoody Rd in Dunwoody, GA, where a man was intentionally struck by a vehicle.

According to police, a male and his girlfriend were at the bar when a second male approached the girlfriend and touched her. This led to a physical altercation between the two men. After the fight was broken up, management instructed all involved parties to leave the establishment.

As the male and his girlfriend entered the parking lot, the male was struck by a vehicle. Witnesses reported that the vehicle intentionally drove towards the male, hit him, and then fled the scene. Initial reports suggested a shooting occurred, but no evidence has been found to support this claim.

The victim, a male in his mid-40s, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Grady Hospital. He is currently in critical but stable condition.

The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing.
