High-Speed Crash on Deans Bridge Rd in Augusta Leaves Driver Seriously Injured
A single-vehicle crash on Deans Bridge Rd Sunday night left the driver with serious injuries.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2700 block of Deans Bridge Rd at 9:15 p.m. on February 23, 2025, following reports of a vehicle accident.
Deputies determined that the driver was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when they lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed the median into the southbound lanes of Deans Bridge Rd and flipped over.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
